Kobayashi picture used in diet pill ad

The maker of the “Food Fighter” diet pill uses a picture of Kobayashi in their webpage for online sales. I am not sure if Kobayashi has given his permission to use his image in their advertising.

You pretty much have to assume they did get permission (and Koby got paid for his endorsement). It’d be pretty foolish for the makers of a mass-marketed product to use someone’s likeness without their permission.

Although it does happen. There are fashion magazines that have been sued for using stock images of stars on their covers, and sometimes someone will end up unwittingly in an ad for something. Of course, it’s more likely that he agreed to this ad, but you never know.

You guys are panicking because OJ isn’t certain that Kobayashi was complicit with this advertising campaign. Of course OJ isn’t certain about Kobayashi’s compliance. Relax! Quit discussing copyright laws!
