I think that was a really nice gesture to let a couple of our military troops qualify for Nathan’s.

That was one of the nicer things the IFOCE/Nathan’s has ever done!

I agree with Rhonda. The military is what keeps us free. To have military qualifiers for the Nathan’s contest is a terrific idea.

I only wish that ESPN would have announced that they were military contestants and showed their qualifiers. Shea could have given them some military props too as they came on stage, but it was completely left out. 🙁

The whole broadcast was poorly produced, It seriously was the Joey, Tim, and Pat show, with Bob creeping in here or there. Barely any mention of the other eaters, barely any mention of all the qualifiers, too much attention given to Koby, and after all the fuss about CLC he didn’t even get much face time. A down year for the contest in my eyes.

Also would of been cool to have someone from the NYPD or NYFD go head to head with Adams.

They definitely should have been given intros as military, on Independence Day of all things. Seems as if IFOCE totally missed a golden opportunity for fine PR. Hopefully others thanked them for their service and showed them a good time.

There was only 1 military guy there, Kris. The other couldn’t arrange leave to compete.

Ron get real the only reason you kiss up to the sheas is because they put you in an ambulance and took care of your medical bills when you passed out in vegas a few years ago. IFOCE is finished . Try calling the office they won’t even return phone calls . A fitting way to bow out with Crazy legs magic act and kobe tarnishing his godly image with childlike temper tantrum on stage
