    jackass: They may have made LA Beast a lot in the past, but YouTube has significantly reduced the AdSense payments for small content creators to about 5 to 10% of what they were making. Some large creators too, since about the beginning of April, when the advertiser boycott began. Some creators have withheld or reduced their content, not wanting to give it away for free (e.g., Carmen Cincotti-where is the MLE corn video? and Darron Breeden-where is the South Side 6 video?). Other newbies are angry, since now they will have to go through a lengthy process and give away free content in order to even get monetized (it used to you could get monetized before you began). Many creators have dropped out of YouTube since they no longer can make a career of it. In the meantime, others keep on releasing premium content despite the lack of significant payment (e.g., Randy Santel, Nathan Figueroa, Ramsey Hilton, Killer Kennedy with the Carbo Cutie, Matt Stonie). They may partially supported by patreon and maybe gawk box, as well as few other sources. The advertisers and revenue may be gradually coming back to YouTube, but the full effect has not returned. It may never be the same, now that the big guys have taken over with YouTube Red and other shows from the broadcast networks and cable.

    Content creators will also have to be more careful. No more vomit shots like in the Pat Bertoletti, Dave Goldstein (the one with the 18 lb. burger: puke in and outside of the trash can and water spilled all over Marcos’s tray), Kevin Ross, Molly Schulyer, or LA Beast have had in their videos. Do it and your video will not be monetized. Many of Molly’s videos will not be monetized (if they ever were) because they are too gross, especially the pizza and burrito ones and the Fat Sal’s one. Though I am a competitive eater too, they gross me out big time. Likewise for some of Naader Reda’s and Wayne Algenio’s videos. Even some of Randy Santel’s videos are a little gross (he used to be a neat eater but becomes sloppy when time is running short and he has to use hands more).

    Also, anything that is considered “sensational” may not be monetized. I can’t find where I read this though, but it is true. The advertises now have a checkbox option.

    11:21: That LA Beast video you linked too would not be monetized now most likely, since it is age restricted. Hence, there would no motivation to him to make that video, unless he wanted to use it as a stunt to grow his fan base, like when he ate a cactus at Wing Bowl.

    Also, didn’t Tiny Tim Rauscheder once eat chicken wing bones, or was that someone else? But he was just trying to be funny though during a contest. That is almost as bad as the light bulb. I think hyenas have been known to eat bone too. The cactus stunt is the next worse.

    i doubt most of the names you mentioned create YT videos for profit. Besides , their videos are lucky to accrue 700 or less hits. Furious Pete and Beast are probably the only names that made money off YT considering their videos average around the 500 thousand mark and beyond As far as earning money from YT i had a YT channel my videos were monetized i never saw one red cent . I am still uncertain as to how the system works. DoesYT write you a check in conjunction with how many hits your videos get? Every 100 thousand hits earn you $100 or am i wrong?

    A figure that has been announced is you make $1-$5 per 1,000 views. It depends on if the subscriber clicks advertiser links on the videos though. I never see ads though since I use Ad Blocker Plus. Google the subject and you will learn a lot. Matt Stonie, Furious Pete, and LA Beast easily make over $250,000 per year just on YouTube. Randy Santel paid for a 3 month European vacation for him and Mitch Dombrowski from his YT earnings. He admitted it himself here. He makes an estimated $25,000-$50,000 per year from YT. This was all before the advertiser boycott though. YT creators are now turning towards Patreon and Gawk Box to help them. There are other ways to make money like with ads from your own websites. Facebook also now monetizes videos.

    Pete might make closer to $500,000 annually. He has paid for trips to Asia and Europe from his earnings. I have seen plenty of young YouTubers pay for $100,000 cash for new GTR’s and new houses from their YT earnings with only 3 or 4 million subscribers (e.g., Tanner Fox, Faze Rug, FouseyTube, Wolfie Raps, Roman Atwood, Vitaly, etc.).     And Damon Wells; I realize he is mostly retired, but if he ever wants to get monetized, his YT user name will have to change from “spraymucus.”

    Stonie makes at least $4,000 per month doing videos, with just one release per week. That’s not unreasonable I have friends with way less subs who release daily and make $200-$500 per vid (when there was no boycott by advertisers). They could affford to buy all kinds of new camera equipment and travel to the US, Mexico, and Asia to make more videos.

    La Beast has not had an easy life. As early as 3rd grade he needed constant supervision out of concern he would put something in his mouth that would cause bodily harm . Hes been dumped by whiny bitchy women that cant put up with his wild lifestyle. He’s been sued by the Sheas for eating butter on youtube. He went to the ER more than once after several deadly failed stunts on YT , He nearly severed his toe doing a butter stunt in his mom kitchen, Hes been tackled and beaten up by a 370lb security guard then arrested after stealing a t – shirt in NYC and running around the block with it attempting to drown his sorrows after a busted up relationship .     I think the toilet seat video was taped prior to the Cheesesteak contest at Dorney Park in 2011? . After the contest Crazy Legs made an announcement that he swore off visiting Eatfeats and BB.com for the rest of his life. Whether he lived by that rule to this day remains to be seen but he bought or baked a carrot cake to commemorate that 1yr anniversary .     When LA Beast goes about trying to set these records he seeks out bizarre stuff that Bertoletti Chestnut or Stonie wouldnt touch or might have a problem with because its of the requirements that differ from just stuffing you face with food. He realizes he is a pretty lousy eater so he has to resort to some sort of unique gimmick attached to the stunt like not being allowed to lick your lips after consuming 9 doughnuts . No real skill involved but does require practice. Chestnut would probably fall flat on his face licking his lips after doughnut 2

    One guy in the Beast live chat named Nighthawk said he had no friends. Beast gave him advice on joining a bowling or softball league to make friends . LA Beast is a very compassionate caring young man. He also mentioned that since the YT ad boycott he along with Pete and Stonie are making very little money putting out YT videos.     The only stream i would follow is Stonie. His eating videos are inspiring and productive and he never comes off as a media whore . Nothing against Pete but his videos especially the eating videos have never inspired me to follow his exploits even though he keeps himself in good shape. . Hope he makes it through his cancer dilemma but videos depicting his chemo progress are downright depressing and should not be made public on YT. LA Beast is the worst of them all. His resume in the work sector is a minimum wage job working for Pepsi distribution and delivery. He only got the job because his dad worked for Pepsi . Watching someone eat glass, sand or thumbtacks is just plain stupid. He is only 33 yrs old Do something creative with your life. Go to law school become a teacher study medicine.
