Closed? they just put it up? This is bullshit . They chose their own people before they posted it. Crazy legs , Janus are automatically in the contest thats for sure.

How do you register for this Jalapeno contest? (Did anyone go last year?)

So which IFOCE website are we supposed to visit to keep up with news and new contests? IFOCE.com or MajorLeagueEating.com? The new wing contest is on IFOCE.com, but not MLE.com.

The Monday wing contest went up last night; registration opened at 5PM, and they only took the first seven entrants.

This wing contest has to be one of the best prizes up for grabs in a non IFOCE-major… I wonder if the great kobayashi will head across the ocean for this one…

I think the IFOCE is just trying to be fair, given the contest parameters they have to work with–(Why limit it to seven eaters?). Unlike the St Patty’s Day ordeal, whereby only the top eight ranked eaters were invited, every person out there has an equal chance of getting in this one. I doubt we’ll see more than three top 10 eaters.

Maybe its because I got in, but I like this format better. Instead of checking a million times a day, you can just hit refresh for 15 min till it starts.
