The website for X107.5 has the rules for the Las Vegas Wing Bowl, which require residency in Clark County. Section b of the eligibility restrictions has been blacked out, but if it is highlighted, it will show a ban on professional eaters.

    I find this interesting. Was not there another eater who was in a recent contest that won a qualifer and was going for a motorcycle until that contest received many letters supporting the fact he was a professional, and as such, should be disqualified, and finally was. I wonder how many here will send letters to this contest and report that El Toro has been a professional and as such, should be disqualified from this contest?

    Wing Bowl 1 Las Vegas is an amateur eating event with no professional eaters. Any member of professional eating organizations, including but not limited to IFOCE & AICE, are also not eligible to participate in the contest.

    If he is not a current member, this rule does not apply to him. The words “current or former” would change the meaning, but the wording is pretty clear. If you didn’t have an agenda, you might read objectively and see this.

    Anyone who has been associated with Professional Eaters will not be qualified for this contest. Addresses and Associations will be verified and confirmed. Thanks for the heads up on El Toro.

    Just because I think Toro is Slow-o does not make me turn him in to get him out of a contest.
    He IS a fellow competitive eater.
    We are all in the same brotherhood.
    He is in the same boat as me. And Kobe. And Gentleman Joe. And Mark Lyle.
    And I hate to admit it but even Beautiful Brian and Dale Boone are competitive eaters.
    There seems, to me anyway, that there is an unwritten code of ehtics involved.
    Anonymous people like you stir shit up for no good reason.
