Observer.com reports Mayor de Blasio will leave tomorrow for a vacation in the western United States. This will make the traditional weigh-in of the Nathan's finalists at City Hall the first I can remember. update The weigh-in will take place at the Brooklyn Borough Hall.

    Its his job to promote NYC, and the Nathans contest does just that. He can put on his big boy pants and do it, just like everyone else who has to do things at their job that they find unappealing.

    I have never heard anyone say one good thing about Sliwa The Sheas wanted to make him a partner in the IFOCE during it’s infant stages but he never showed up for the meeting
