A page about the McHotDog Classic has been set up on the website for McDonald’s of Japan. Kobayashi was to have made an appearance tomorrow to promote the new menu item which has since been cancelled.

The McHotDog Classic is being marketed as a breakfast food and will not be available after 10:30 am. (Perhaps Kobayashi did not think he was being disloyal to Nathan’s since their frankfurters are generally considered a lunch / dinner food. 😉 )

    Its not a breakfast sausage its a hot dog and I don’t care what time of the day you eat it its still a hot dog ,he’s not stupid he knew it was a hot dog , he did the right thing

    Mega I don’t know whose idea or for what purpose it was for the IFOCE / MLE to have four, no five, Web sites. It’s not only neither functional nor cost-effective, it undermines professionalism when the site(s) is/are not kept current (i.e. go to http://www.competitiveeatingevents.com. The latest entry is Joey throwing out the first pitch at a baseball game. Isn’t that over a year old?)

    (IFOCE) Guys … you need to downsize! A single Web site is all you need and it will be much less labor-intensive to keep one current than multiple sites. Get rid of them, please! Either expand IFOCE.com or MLE.com and get rid of the others.
