Registration opened today on majorleagueeating.com for the Wings For Wishes Professional Wing Eating Championship to be held in Miami on April 2. Prizes are $2000/$1000/$500/$350/$100/$50.

This will be a super stacked field and a very hard one to win. Imagine if MLE allowed everyone in this contest including non MLE pros.

No idiot. I’m comparing a governing body of an event with people under contract broadcast on ESPN….there’s more money on the line than people know….just the fact is a very small % goes to the eaters.

Most independent eaters do not sign because they tell some that they cannot have their YouTube even though others can but take out a percentage for them having it, do promotions for money, other outside contests (even though some can), challenges for money (even though some can), sell their merch etc. You make more money not signing and as said before on other comments, the eaters in MLE get nickels compared to what MLE rakes in which is pathetic to the people that draw the crowd.
