That’s quite something – 3 of these? There’s no Moe’s here, but I imagine they are the same thing as Chipotle. The tortillas must be the hard part – aren’t they gummy and hard to get down? Do you guys plainly eat them or is there some other approach? About how long does it take to eat one? Are we talking like a minute or something?

These burritos are actually about two thirds the size of a chipotle burrito. 4 won’t even be much of a capacity issue for most people, but I would bet that to win overall an amature is going to have to eat about 1 per minute in the finals. They give you only one 32oz cup of water for the whole contest, and since capacity isn’t an issue with only a small handful of burritos drinking all the water should help to improve the time since dunking isn’t really an issue with burritos.

Did you hear the rumor? Taco Bell had a burrito eating contest about two days ago and Britney Spears happened to be at that particular Taco Bell where she entered the contest herself. She was there with her son, Sean Preston whom she handed to a Taco Bell employee. Unfortunately she received 2nd place winning $10. Talk about desperate. Anyway, when she looked for little Sean Preston she couldn’t find him and the employee wasn’t there anymore. Britney immediately called the police to find little Sean Preston. Fortunately, after 13 hours of searching Britney remembered that she had told the employee herself to put Sean Preston back in her car. When the police had finally found him he was burnt very badly due to the heat in the car. Britney was charged $500 for child endangerment and $200 more for calling the police for no reason. I know that it is off topic but I just wanted to state that out that Britney Spears is a fellow competitive eater just like you and even me.

qualifying round in Cranberry, PA went to James Faller – 2:48
I believe he competed in Shoo-Fly.
He’ll take on the winner of the Robinson Twp., PA store August 12 in a 4 burrito contest to determine who will represent the region.
2nd was 3:12
3rd was 3:30
4th (me) was 4:00

Unfortunately in my region they are taking your time from the store finals 4 burrito contest and submitting it to regionals. The person with the best time then is the national contestant. Seems like there is room there for some manipulation by stores since each store makes their own burritos for the competitors. With that being said, one can only hope to have a dishonest store manager.

Why was this steakbellie allowed to enter the mo’s contest? It was not a sanctioned IFOCE event?

steak isn’t ranked by IFOCE.
simple…. when he get’s to the top 20 or maybe 10 they’ll make him do only their contests.

The game is pretty fun. Albeit, my little sister cannot stop playing it even though she hates burritos. I’m starting to think that the game is a hypnotizing majingy.

Won my Local Store Finals today. August 12th I return to the store to eat for burritos alone and then have my time submitted for regionals.

The Idiots over at AICE believe that by removing GJoe from the rankings he will be applicable to win the Chopper in the Moe’s Burrito contest!!!! GJoe intends to steal it and had his name removed!!!!
How sad for him to do that.
I happen to have screenshots of the rankings……
enjoy those burrittos Joe……it’s all for naught…..

I say just rat him out and call every Mo’s north of CT or NY and let them know that some dude that looks like Ollie Hardy was a ranked aice member and is trying to compete in the Mo’s contest.

As soon as I noticed what the aice/Gjoe did with their rankings I grabbed a cashed google page of their unmodified rankings with a time and date stamp.

Moe’s don’t know. At my local, I mentioned that “someone” who was at the table for a store finals was ranked, but all they said was “He said he wasn’t.”
Good thing though, the guy I’m speaking of came in second place to a fast newcomer.
That’s why I really didn’t think the issue had to be brought up.
I hope GJoe does try to “steal” the Chopper from a deserving up-and-comer and he gets beat straight up at the table.
I know he eats for the money and prizes, but trying to go around the rules is going a little too far.

It might be fun to let Joe compete up until the regionals. If he looses, we can make fun of him. If he wins, we can report him, and then make fun of him even more!

i say we do an all out campaign to find out about all these secret contests he is entering that is netting him this incredible profit in the past 2yrs and shut him down. Noone cares about his earning sheet which he boastfully brags about on his website time in and time out

For the record, my ranking with the IFOCE did keep me from being able to participate. My ranking did not however keep me from trying the three Joey’s for time out of curiousity, which was a modest 3:01.
