Not at all surprising, no way to keep social distancing and all kinds of problems to hold the contest. It is just too early for New York to be back to even an iota of normal. No contests for the future calendar would be the best. No reason to schedule as you can always do so at close to the contest.

NY will gradually open business next month as long as the social guidelines are enforced and they see a dramatic drop in hospitalizations and deaths. Opening anything is based on that criteria. From a personal standpoint i would be content if at least the gyms were open and reassuring us that grocery shopping should not be just for emergencies only. Nathans is a day by day decision at this point. Its clear that Nathans contest is not considered essential business right now but George Shea will find a way to hold online qualifiers and a final table via youtube even without EMT. Almost a guarantee
