    Interesting that they have two TX qualifiers so close together. I know San Antonio and Houston aren’t exactly down the block from each other, but still.

    Historically, MLE has needed more qualifiers on the west. People say Nela doesn’t know how to handle her success, but it is really the Sheas suffer from a lack of vision.

    Why has not MLE grown in the past 15 years? They still only have one or two employees. Why are they not yet a publicly traded company? It seems just to be about making sure the Sheas have enough money to live on until they retire. If they had been the CEO and President, the Board would have fired them a long time ago for not growing the company.

    You can see that the Sheas have not one iota of common sense because they have managed to associate with that bottom-ranked buffoon for years on end, despite lack of any real eating ability.

    thank you 1218. Instead of trying to actually be an umbrella of the best eaters in the world, they are happy to just attract a handful and it shows on July 4th when only 2 can pass 60 dogs, and the rest are inching past 30. In what sport organization are the best of the best players willingly unsigned because there’s not enough incentive to join, say the NFL? And yes, I’ll say CE is a sport and if you don’t believe so chances are you’re bad and have never seriously trained for a contest.

    It’s a sport that only a rare few have a shot at making any real money competing. The rest are content rubbing elbows with those rare few that are irrelevant in this world

    MLE doesn’t have the worlds best eaters as it claims, it has a few and the rest are too lazy/content and just want to be able to say they’re a “competitive eater”. Pathetic.
