New Media Rockstars has an interview with "Furious" Pete Czerwinski, who says he is glad he never signed a MLE contract because it would have limited his opportunities and that he was not credited with 40 wings he ate in the Wing Bowl.

Fantastic article, written superbly, about a guy who does CE his way. Love his spirit! He is definately great for competitve eating and promoting it’s popularity world wide.

I have watched many petes videos. With the exception of steak, he does not appear to be enjoying his food. More like just scarf it down

So that what it all about 712? You might as well scarf down shit or sand. One should savor and enjoy what they consume and not make it look like a chore

Believe it or not, I think Pete’s a rocket scientist. Yes, one should savor and enjoy what they consume, IN REAL LIFE! Not in an eating CONTEST!

Furious Pete should have won Wingbowl. That contest is rigged for whom they want to win and that is the bottom line

    Man-child Seiken hijacked a blog, E-I-E-I-O.
And on that blog he started more shit, E-I-E-I-O.
With an oink oink here and an F U there, and
If you’re crass he’ll threaten to kick your ass.
Unbeautiful Brian took over another blog, E-I-E-I-O!

Anon at 433 and 820. That is the stupidest thing I’ve read on this site in a while, and that says a lot. CE is about speed. If you taste it, you’re eating too slow.

Naader is a speed eater and still manages to enjoy his food

It is certainly true that there are way too many ridiculous comments which add nothing to the conversations except negativity. If you are a fan and read you will find many eaters including Kobayashi saying that if you are tasting the food you know that you are in trouble competitively. Like all sports, the most successful eaters use thinking, strategy, and discipline. It does not mean that they will be top eaters but that is the path to being the best each can be. Unlike many other sports though, there is little real regulation or “good” judging so results can be a real mixed bag.

7:49 that may be true but not at the same time. There is dining and there is eating competitively. You can enjoy the competitions but you certainly cannot take the time to taste the food.

I understand that you during competition there will come a point when the food tastes like leather or unbearable but during the first few minutes there has to be some good taste associated with it

“It is certainly true that there are way too many ridiculous comments which add nothing to the conversations except negativity”

The first line of 824 comment was not necessary. The sure sign of a bitter troublemaker out to get one person and one person only.
Just because you don’t agree with a comment that makes it ridiculous and negative? Because of your biased ways i am sure if you were a grade school teacher you would be very selective in deciding who to answer when a bunch of hands are raised in the classroom.

What 824 is trying to imply is pure and simple. The perceived one bad apple is not permitted to participate in the class discussion. Why dont you stop beating around the bush.We know what you’re all about.

1229 You sir are no bona fide competitive eater. Don’t feel bad, for neither are 433, 820, and 749. 825 and Duh have it right.

I remember Sonya Thomas stating on more than one occasion that if she could ever taste the food, she had lost already. I regard her as an above so I think she has a point.

Alright already. Who cares if he enjoys his food or not. Lets talk about more important things like Seiko. Oink oink

Do we have to rehash this over and over again? Furious Pete was more than welcome in the organization until some jealous fool pleaded with the Sheas not to let him in. . I guess everyone knows who it is. Hint? A very highly ranked eater
