Nothing to report. The eaters that registered for the event got emails two weeks ago that the even was cancelled Others left comments about it. You need to someone twitter page to confirm it for you? Duhhhhh

If this were the NBA or NFL, there would have been an official announcement from them. If MLE is to be taken seriously and grow as a sport, it must get on the ball.

They could replace it with a Newport NJ or Edison NJ Mall or Oceanside NY like the old days instead of wasting time with Meadowlands. Nathans famous site is about as reliable as Ed Jarvis blog Huge eaters which hasnt been updated since summer of 2006

What would be exciting is for Stonie, Janus, Sonya & Miki to all compete together and for Chestnut to step aside. He doesn’t really want to do it again and doesn’t need the coin.

It makes absolute no sense to cram the table with eaters that will eat maybe 1/3 of what chestnut will eat. Compete? Compete for what? A few hundred in pocket money and a free hotel room? Another 10 grand in Joey pocket Ok 2nd & 3rd walk away with some decent cash but rhe rest of you are wasting your time . I love that word compete.Compete against who and for what? Joey kicking all your asses so whats the point?
