The Nisei Week Japanese Festival announced that it will not be held in 2020, which will also cancel the gyoza eating contest scheduled for August 22 in Los Angeles. The Festival intends to return in 2021.

    So i guess we will be subjected to watching videos of Bob Shoudt risking his life with 15lbs of macaroni and cheese looking like hes about to die. Not sure if he doing this cause his brain is shot or he wants to get his mind off this pandemic. Honestly all this talk about the virus is so stressful that i can see him wanting a change of pace with the challenges. He can turn to booze or drugs but not even sure that would help

    This is bigger than just the cancellations of MLE contests. This is the end of competitive eating contests completely. Forever. The eaters on YouTube will keep making money but if anyone thinks they are gonna eat at contests again they’re ignorant.

    US is clueless on how to handle this nightmare. Every day its the same shit . We need more testing meanwhile thousands are testing positive every day and hundreds are dying at the same rate. Social distance is working but at a very slow rate. Then you got this dick wad Bill Ritter from ABC news who cant wait to report more deaths and more positive cases and why not? He already had the virus and recovered so now he can take immense pleasure in scare the public to death ?

    Not true. One of those people is easily identifiable by the topics he writes, his grammar and reuse of phrases and his going back a gazillion years. He feels ignored but has the chance to write a lot anonymously. When OJ writes, he writes his own name. No need to feed more comments from him.
