    Off topic but Brian Subich brother passed away. While there are certain people that remain bitter and won’t even give the man respect by offering condolences. You know who you are and may you be blessed with the same kind of treatment when a tragedy of that sort happens to you .

    sorry for your lose……but back on topic. Whose gonna pay $ to see two no name eaters????? Joel cant even win a AICE contest. Let alone any other legit contest out there. Why dont you pass this off to a real name competitive eater so some real money could be donated. Not to mention some real pizza being eaten.

    Anonymous 3:06 – it doesn’t matter who is doing the fund-raising. The point is that these two thoughtful people are looking to do something for a good cause and that is commendable. It may be true that top-ranked eaters would possibly raise more $ but any amount raised for a worthy cause is appreciated. I’m a big-time, no-namer but when I did my charity eating (before I even began competitively eating), it warmed my heart to write out an $600+ check and mail it to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, and they were quite appreciative of the donation! Maria & Joel – hats off to u both 🙂

    This woman is an ingrate. Seiken was trying to further her career but instead was accused of posting a video of her auditioning for jersey shore tv show without her consent, She failed to point out that the video was made public via the internet. Anyone that doesnt appreciate what Seiken does for them print wise is not even worth a mention on his site or anyone else site

    Seiken often uses poor judgment, thinking that he is doing one thing when actually he is overstepping and using things without permission. He could correct that easily by simply contacting the person whose photo, photos, videos he plans to post and asking their permission. End of all problems with that. Sometimes solutions are easier than problems.

    Poor judgment again. Real eaters read here and post here some of the time. Most real eaters and fans have been stung one way or another by Seiken if they are in contact with him directly. We and he used to say that he means no harm but now just read what he writes here. People’s feelings get hurt yes, and most people try to smooth things over. You do not know who I am but I am not alone in saying that you are not helping yourself or your website. It wouldn’t matter if you knew who was writing, I could be one of many people feeling exactly the same. Would you attack me then rather than thinking about what you write and do? I would hope not but history tends to repeat itself if no lessons are learned.

    I am telling the truth when I say that I cannot think of one competitive eater that Seiken has not either hurt, embarrased, attacked, or had a falling out with (or all four) who has been eating competitively for longer than six months. Yet, he is the one who is always right. Go figure.

    Beautiful Brian has been nothing but great to me since I 1st met him back @ Dorney Park in May. Any of his postings about me have been quite fun, accurate and flattering 🙂 I appreciate all the times he’s mentioned me on BB.com and enjoyed my interview with him at Atlantic City this past Memorial Day wknd.
