    Turning off comments? OJ.should have made that decision in July 2005 .

    I could turn off commenting, but if you do not want to read comments, just view the main page.

    I think the 2011 Calgary qualifier was restricted to Canadian citizens.

    Singapore would probably be the best location for an eastern hemisphere qualifier.

    You created eatfeats as a database for competitive eating news. The comments have never accomplished a thing. People insulting each other left and right and most of the opinions on the sport are worthless

    This site needs to either discontinue comments or just go away. There used to be more congruence among eaters until a few years ago and this site is the reason.

    I just want to make a comment on commenting. Several commenters have commented that commenting on this site should be discontinued and I ewnt to comment that I agree with those comments.

    Since the personal attacks or remarks alluding to ones physical features continues to exist, then the best remedy is to ban all comments. Even if you screen them the hate will never go.away unless its extinguished

    OJ, I just looked through this entire string of off topic comments, and only one name was mentioned. What’s more, it appears that person’s name was actually mentioned by the same person who was making the comment. Nothing hateful or vicious, because the remarks were directed at no one by name. Moving off topic comments is a great response to the constant complainers and troublemakers. Keep it up! The only people who complain about moving off topic comments are the troublemakers and complainers who create the off topic comments and whose sole purpose is to disrupt discussions on this site for their personal gains. My guess … oh I don’t know? Let’s see … who would have such a motive? Could it possibly be someone with another competitive eating website? Nah. You can obviously see it gets to him because now all he can do is play with himself in these off topic threads. Which, I’m sure he does quite frequently in more ways than just trying to stir up trouble on this site. Keep up the good work OJ.
