    Why wasnt Seiken mentioned in the article? Rich Shea calls Shoudt the elder statestman when Seiken if anything carries that distinction. FYI Dudkinski does not look like he does in the picture

    Brian Seiken is never mentioned deliberately just to piss him off . They know he gets offended when his name is not mentioned which is why they play these childish grade school games.     For argument sake lets say Seiken is responsible for the child like comments . Well that doesn’t say much for this site because those child like comments make up 80% of the comments on the side bar. That means that OJ is forced to approve those comments because nobody else is bothering to comment on the posts. Don;t try and defend the administrator by saying that Seiken nonsense is getting in the way of the on topic comments.     Why doesnt OJ Rifkin post his traffic page on a daily basis with the IP locations (minus address) and match it up with Seiken traffic page. Let the facts speak for themselves instead of speculating how many fans Seiken has . Documented stats never lie

    Brian Seiken is indeed a legend. He has been responsible for more competitive eaters receiving attention than could be possible with only major league eating websites or any other organization. Brian Seiken is the bomb when it comes to marketing competitive eaters, whether they be highly ranked or newcomers. He is owed a major debt of gratitude that we seem to take for granted.

    I wont go as far as saying that Seiken is responsible for eaters getting publicity over the years but he did convince many to join the IFOCE instead of going elsewhere. I don’t believe he ever got a thank you . Then again Joe Frazier never thanked Muhammad Ali for getting him the exposure he never would have got if Ali didn’t hype their fights

    Kotch is stll very much an eater and a good friend,about a week ago at Canters deli he ate a corned beef , brisket, and turkey sandwich with fries. Aprox” weight about 7lbs. He dont care about competing anymore after being SNUBBED by MLE at thr rib contest last year. He just competes for charity only…

    How dare anyone mock a masterpieces like eats of strength. It was filmed during the early stages of high def era. Do you know how much blood sweat and cash the Sheas and Dave Baer put into this project? This wasn’t one of seiken internet shows using a $20 Logitech cam . High end equipment and professional camera men were hired to put together the month long project and you have the audacity to refer to it as a joke ? Watch a few episodes and maybe you might enjoy it
