(from beautifulbrian.com) Youtube has 8 videos of Pat “from Moonachie” Philbin on the Opie & Anthony show, including 3 of his attempt at eating 100 hard boiled eggs while walking the streets of New York City this week. He apparently gets to 97, but regurgitates so his mark will not supplant Sonya Thomas’ record.

    That was a very valiant try by Pat. Sonya’s 65 in 6 minutes and change seems almost unbelievable, and she ranks it next to her 46 dozen (552) Oysters in 10 minutes. I can certainly see why.

    He got to 100 then threw it up if you listen to the radio broadcast on mysite. The whole idea was for him to throw up to get the extra $1000. Imagine if the IFOCE demanded something like that in order to win prize money?

    It wasn’t a contest, it was a promotion for the movie “Clerks II”, they were giving away a $1,000. a day the week of the release. I came up with the Idea of doing the “Cool-Hand Luke” challenge (50 eggs/Hr.) I told them I could do it in a 1/2 hour, I’ve done 36 in 5&1/2 minutes (practice for a stunt for wingbowl) but these were extra large commercial-grade eggs packed in brine water and were dry and hard as golfballs! (I know, excuses! excuses!) the point being it was more of an exibition, nowhere near what Sonya has acomplished! 65 eggs/6:40 min….I got another $1000. for getting to 100 H-B eggs (eggvis left the bldg. several times!).
    BTW, there was a certified EMT present…I was actually hoping for a little “mouth to mouth” ! 😉

    Pat why do Opie and anthony think that every time you crack a joke and you add that yukkk yukk laugh at the end of it means that you think you failed? Pats famous quote on O&A ” I am nothing and i have nothing”

    Thank God Mouth to Mouth wasn’t necsassary, two people would’ve been puking.
    The first give back (PUKE) was at about the 50 HB egg mark, right?? Not too impresive. But the effort deserves an A++!! And then to keep going–now that’s outta control. Kudos to you Pat, you madman.

    No, “Eggvis” first left the building at the 64 HB egg mark, it’s on the “Zapuker Film”…my head goes “BACK…and to the left”

    …There could’ve been a second puker…on the “Gassy knoll”
