Request for Carnegie Deli pickle contest video

If anyone recorded a video of the last week’s pickle contest at the Carnegie Deli from start to finish I would like to host it on this website in order to resolve the controversy about the duration of that event. Kevin Lipsitz had the Hartford Nathan’s qualifier recorded in its entirety so hopefully he has a complete video of the pickle contest. If any participant or spectator timed the contest with a stopwatch, please report your results in the comments to this post.

I just wanted to say congrats to OJ. Ads up on the blog? That’s a good sign, right? Keep up all the good work!

Where do I send Video?-Not so sure that Mr. Podelesky is able to down load from camera and send it via e-mail. I will assist in whatever way to bring forth the evidence.

    Q. Will IFOCE remove Jarvis from their record books after proof is submitted?
(I don’t want my name on their website, but removing Jarvis’s name would be the honest thing to do)

If they you don’t want a current record holder replaced then Jarvis should still have his name where it is.

You have got to be out of your freakin mind or maybe you are smokin some heavy duty sh— . You have a better chance of winning mega million than the IFOCE removing Jarvis name and placing chapmans name on their site.

If you email the video to ojrifkin@yahoo.com, I will upload it. If the video is hosted on youtube.com or Google Video I will link to it.

    OJ:

As mentioned I may not have the capability to do that (although I will look into it). Any chance I can send you a copy you could review and validate that theat the contest was on 3:45 seconds long?

If the original contest video is on a video tape, you could just record the television it is played back on with a digital video camera. The video does not need to be HDTV quality.
