    There hasn’t been a best wing eater who won Wing Bowl since Joey Chestnut. Of course, Kobayashi was the best wing eater last year, but that wasn’t even a competition considering how much better Kobi is at eating than any of the other eaters at that sham event. Cataldi doesn’t care about the contest being an eating competition, since he just fixes the final results and creates qualifiers that have nothing to do with eating abilities. The Wing Bowl has devolved into a black mark for all competitive eating events and I actually salute eaters like Kobi, “Furious” Pete and Stephanie Torres who now stay away from this embarrassment to competitive eating. He’s young, but If McDonald ever wants to be taken seriously he should stay away too. After McDonald gets cheated and pelted by a few beer bottles, he’ll learn. So called “eaters” who now attend Wing Bowl are just sad attention cravers who can’t really compete in real competitions. The bottom line is, Cataldi’s only concern is just fooling enough idiotic low lifes to but tickets to this bogus eating competition and feed his craving for publicity. So, the Wing Bowl Hall of Fame now consists of an eater who threw up and a multi-year champion who is an indicted coke dealer. Hall of Fame? Hall of Shame more like it.

    Wake Up is a pathetic waste of life. A washed up excuse of a man who had high hopes of being someone special some day. He thought he could eat and be appreciated by his piers and adored by fans. He was a failure as an eater, a disgrace of a showman, and a bitter, angry, sore looser. He thinks if he comes on here anonymously and mocks certain contests, eaters, and throws words around like racists, drunks, sluts, and strippers that it will make him feel better about the embarrassment that is his own life. He has no actual accomplishments. He comes here to live vicariously through other eaters honestly believing someone cares or takes his comments into consideration. He’ll poke fun of other people’s failures believing that he has risen above them in social status. He’ll talk about Joey, Sonya, and Kobi as if he knows them. As if they are untouchable gods who were taken advantage by WIP and Angelo. They made choices, as all eaters do. Joey was a fresh faced kid when he won wing bowl, Sonya just being recognized national too. As for Kobi, great or not, we all know he’s available to the highest bidder. Nathan’s, Hoffmans, Crif, and was paid $10,000 per apperance and the championship purse for wing bowl. Around $38,500 for a half hour. But Wake Up will still feel sorry for them. They chose to compete and they all we paid handsomely for their participation. Your dispicible attempt to defend their honor is not welcome by most of us and only proves they you are in fact nothing more than a wanna be eater who entered wing bowl and never made it to round two. I suggest you get a real hobby and stop wasting your time “sticking up” for your imaginary friends. I wish him the best in his attempt to find a real life of his own. I’ll pray for him.

    Snackers: Who do you think I am? I would love to know. Please, show some guts and name some names and prove to everyone you know nothing about competitive eating. Warning though, I am not who you think I am, never competed in the Wing Bowl, and am not a competitive eater. However, I am friendly and extremely close to the real champions you mentioned. Once again though, thanks for proving my points about how seriously flawed the Wing Bowl is since you can’t argue any of the facts I’ve pointed out. So, I’m not going to speculate falsely about who anonymous posters are because if I don’t know you are from your post you aren’t worth mentioning and it would look foolish as you do now. But, I do know that If I don’t know who you are, you aren’t close to any of the eaters you mentioned. Though I do admit I’ve lost touch with one of those eaters over the years. Since you don’t know who I am and it’s driving you crazy, keep speculating if you’d like. Apparently, my opinion means a lot to you. If you want to argue the facts about the Wing Bowl devolving into a crap fest and attack somebody who you think I am, fine. But, maybe you should first call that person you think I am and find out I am not before you look even more idiotic and name others falsely.
