“Stick to Blogging” review on IFOCE.com

A review of “Beautiful” Brian’s CD, “Stick to Blogging”, has been posted on the main page of IFOCE.com:

From the very first words of his seminal work of competitive eating themed rock and roll, Beautiful Brian Seiken announces himself as the underdog who has finally made good – “the phenom, coming out of nowhere.” And if his self-released CD is any indication of what’s to come, this Brooklyn native will remain a major player in the realm of competitive eating media for some time.

Though the album displays a remarkable range of genre – from post-punk to ’50s-style ballad – the themes are fairly consistent. Each song is either a tribute or a protest song, and the object is always a member, or a phenomenon, associated with the MLE competitive eating circuit.

There is also a wrapup of the Acme Oyster contest which mainly consists of Crazy Legs Conti’s itinerary.

update Brian has responded to the review by ending his moratorium on writing “Bits & Pieces”. His most recent update announces that Lorraine and Kevin Lipsitz have had twins.

This review was a masterpiece in its own right. Well documented and to the point. Noone coerced them to write this review. They liked what they heard. and if something sounds like a piece of garbage they would not take the time to write about it or virtually ignore it. Its quite obvious that i would dominate this entire organization if i was a great eater.Website, talkshows, music. All i need to do is work on the eating capacity . Mark my words this is the beginning of greatness. More songs will follow ! How do you like that ! Now enough with the paypal excuses go buy the CD so you can leave something for your grandchildren to treasure ! Let me tell it to ya !

i would try and ask Pat,hes the the pizza king, but i would try and eat a slice in maybe 2-3 bites and just try and maintain a good pace.if your allowed to dunk, that might help get it down faster,it all depends on how thick the pizza is.Pat Bertoletti, who set a new record in 2007 with 22 slices of 16″ pizza in 10 minutes, thats like what almost 3 large pizzas,i guess..that boy can eat,Good Luck 🙂
