CBS' Tailgate Fan blog claims that MLE desires a monopoly over competitive eating and says the organization "does not seem to want you to have any food-related fun outside of its sponsored events".

    They sure do. They put you on a damn wait list only to be told they have no room for you..But if you dear to do a challange or a contest all hell breaks loose.

    Talk about eaters being jealous of other eaters but the same standard applies to the organization they are affiliated with. They don’t want you doing challenges because you get the publicity and they don’t. Then they try and turn it around by saying why do want to give that sponsor publicity . What are you getting out of it ?

    MLE is a absolutely wonderful business. The eaters under contract have it easy by not having to dwell on which contest they should compete or not.They are known for total honesty, trustworthiness, reputation, and fairness. Their ranked eaters are all fine role models. All worthy of endorsing products they consume. MLE and it’s loyal eaters would never manufacture results or manipulate events in anyway for financial reasons which would only taint their image and give the impression MLE is just a way for a couple of greedy people to make money? They tirelessly develop hero’s and champions as their employees these are the folks who understand they are unable to succeed with out MLE guidance. No one should ever question these facts.

    All ranked eaters are fine role models? Really, are you F**King kidding me. Let’s start off with major obesity problems. Let’s look at certain nasty, foul mouthed ranked eaters. How about drunks that post obnoxious, foul photos? Most are fun people who enjoy a good time but to call them role models is off the charts.
