Hinting that he may be in coney on the 4th. Awesome, it’s about time Joey has some legitimate competition.

I was hoping she would ask him what he thinks of the Sheas. I would have loved to see the expression on his face. He won’t be at Coney unless they construct some sort of private stage for him not part of MLE. Maggie will come up with something .

Last season may have been the most exciting year for competitive eating since the Kobe vs Chestnut years. Sudo could be just as dominant as the black widow if she decides to eat that long. Stonie is the real deal and was much needed with the loss of Pat. There seems to be a lot of 1st and second year eaters particularly in the mens division like Juan, Adrian , Jeff, Ronnie and Pablo who are already highly ranked and are only going to get better. Outside of MLE I am going to agree that Independent is catching up but the talent level isn’t as deep outside the 5 best. Molly , Jamie , Kobe , Tom Gilbert , Furious Pete. It should be a great 2014 season.

Expect Kobe to sign a deal with Hebrew National or Oscar Meyer and create another boring hot dog contest in a fancy NYC hotel on July 4th . Same jokers will be invited to compete against him and get their asses handed to them as usual . US Male Furious Pete Stephanie Torres Brad the Lunatic did i forget anyone else ?

10:17 has good points about CE last season. Kobe is learning English but still cannot give an interview. Great eater, forever in the hall of fame but MLE again? At best it is the same old faces in a contest. Boring. Let’s move on, bring on the new.

I think that by end of year 2015 we’ll see several MLE top 10 eaters “retire.” Given enough time, (the risk of poor) health becomes more attractive than the lure of money and fame (?), and people will start listening to their bodies.

Some of these guys have this fallacy that working out like a monster will make up for the outrageous damage they do to their bodies by consuming 100 cookies or 9 lbs of macaroni and cheese just to name a few. Doesn’t work that way

I think some people can get away with it; others cannot. Unfortunately, there will likely be a multiyear time lag before they know.

How moronic some of you sound praising these fools that eat 69 hot dogs not realizing that somewhere down the line they will die of heart disease or colorectal cancerl

@4:26, not if they throw it up, which is what everyone does. Any one who says they don’t puke after a Hotdog contest is lying through their vomit stained teeth.

Throwing up creates an additional problem because stomach acid is not kind to the esophagus.

You have a point 445. Bunch of lying hypocrites. Every single one of them heave. They won’t admit it cause they have their pride . Making the public believe they shit it out is a bunch of lies. That shit sticks to the walls of your colon like spackled paint

Ya gotta love chestnut theory. Oh I eat granola bars when im not competing . Yeah right tell us another one

Forced vomiting can be dangerous but if you just consumed 20 or more hotdogs you better find a quick way of getting rid of them or they will find a nice cozy home in your intestinal tract for years to come

only 2 ways of getting rid of them. Take your pick.

A lot of ppl do let it out naturally. Knowing how to eat when you’re not competing is what makes champions. See how long Molly lasts until her esophagus gives out from all the reversing!

I haven’t seen Koby on the scene since July. Where’s he been? Not even a word from Maggie.
