    I had a problem with Takeru Kobayashi doing an event in Brooklyn the same day as Nathan’s on July Fourth. Nathan’s is a wholesome, all American event, and even national media recognizes that. Kobi was wrong in that case. But, Kobi taking away from the WIP Wing Bowl festival of human misery, well that’s something Philadelphia should support. Let’s see: Drunks, racists, strippers, drug dealers, and washed up porn stars at the WIP Wing Bowl; Or, Kobi eating against local American heros. So, now Philadelphians have a choices. Go out and see a legendary eater like Kobi, policemen and firefighters. Or, go see no-name wannabes like Squibb, McDonald and a cast of losers pretend to eat in a competition fixed by Cataldi. Go to the WIP Wing Bowl and wallow around on puddles of beer and vomit while the sexist mob urges your girlfriend to expose herself. Or see, last year’s true Wing Bowl champion eat against Philadelphia’s first line defenders of liberty. Unlike WIP Wing Bowl’s pavlovian lackies who post here and can’t face facts, childishly labeling as a “hater” anybody who accurately points out WIP’s Wing Bowl devolution, true Philadelphian’s can now call it as it really is. WIP Wing Bowl should be shunned. Kobi’s Wing Bowl should be saluted.

    Kobayashi is pathetic. When he got kicked out of the GREATEST eating organization in the world, he set up a less than half assed cocktail weenie challenge in the same city to try to upstage Nathan’s. Huge joke. Now when Koby does not get invited back to Wing Bowl, that’s right, NOT INVITED BACK, he desperately searched for another wing venue in the same city. This is the best Naggy James can do.

    The true heroes are Chief Inspector Dennis Wilson and the rest of the police and fire fighters. Not a washed up has been with no where to go.

    Team Koby is having a going out of business sale. When he ate against the #1 eater in the world, Joey Chestnut, he commanded a huge paycheck and got it. A mere 2 years later, he had to fight with the Wing Bowl management to get a guaranteed $20K, the reason for delaying his confirmation. Now he scraps for any opportunity to hopefully get a little mention in some little article riding the coat tails of W.I.P.

    Maybe it’s time for Takeru Kobayashi and Haggy James to pack there bags and head back to Japan. Oh, wait a minute, Japan doesn’t want them either.

    Kobayashi was invited to do Wing bowl this year. He chose not to for personal reasons. Get the facts dumbass before you comment on something you know nothing about.

    Oh but there is plenty of jealousy on this website., Some are jealous of Jamie some are jealous of Pete Czerwitski, Some are jealous of Kobayashi. Some only get bold when they get intoxicated like a high profile eater in the IFOCE. I know who the hater is and its quite sad because god blessed him with decent looks
