Toby Keith’s 100 ounce challenge

Country music superstar Toby Keith has a restaurant at Harrah’s casino in Las Vegas which offers a 100 ounce eating challenge. In addition to two pounds of hamburger, the challenge also requires diners to finish 32 ounces of beer and 16 ounces of “freedom fries” along with other items. Customers who complete the challenge will receive a T – shirt. A picture of the burger is available on flickr. With the demise of the Plaza Casino’s Big Daddy challenge, this might be the only burger challenge in Las Vegas.

There is no prize except a t-shirt and your picture on the wall, also liquide of your choosing instead of beer. If completed you still have to pay the $29.95 price..Any of the top 50 can do this just for practice.

I can’t believe the people on this site using such awful language. My daughter was told by one of her older friends who has long been a big fan of Sonya Thomas and Badlands Booker that this is “a really cool” site. Well, because of the comments like those of El Toro, whoever he is, I’ve now added this site to those unavalilable to my 11-year-old. Whoever runs this site needs to screen the comments a bit better. I have seldom been as embarrassed!

It has been an unofficial policy that commenters can say what they want if they post under their own name, but I agree that the comment you referred to went overboard and have pulled it and the comment that instigated it.

Even uncensored radio stations wouldn’t use such filthy language like the comment left by El Toro. It was horrible and disgusting but the instigated comment is still there and that is not fair to El foul mouth!

One concerned father , what is so cool about this site? The posts are very informative but the comments are comprised of anonymous idiots that take pleasure in demeaning competitive eaters with real names. The hateful remarks accomplish nothing except hurting someones feelings. Why is your daughter a fan of just Badlands and Sonya? What about other legendary competitive eaters such as Don Lerman, Brian Subich , Pete Miernicki , US male or Beautifulbrian? . I dont think that’s fair at all

    OJ
Since you moderate all comments from unregistered users, please don’t let any anonymous posters disparage eaters. If they’re man (or woman) enough to attack someone, they should be man (or woman) enough to take the heat themselves. El Toro, or any one of us for that matter, does not deserve the crap these guys give out.

I agree with Mike. anonymous assholes ruin the beauty of this website. I would comment more often but everytime OJ posts a link to my commentary or video some asshole under an anonymous name has to chime in with personal hateful remarks. Sure its real convienient to slam someone under an alias name and just sit back and enjoy it hoping you got yourself an audience that found it amusing. I think most of you are pathetic pitiful fu– that never accomplished a damn thing in your life so this is your way of getting back at society.

My fellow americans it is self evident that laughing or ridiculing another human being on websites for self entertainment purposes, is a violation of one’s civil rights as stated in the constitution of this here united states. The only fair method of punishment is serving a prison term or permanent ban from eatfeats.com

Thanks ojrifkin. I appreciate your response. To the anonymous comment: What’s wrong with my daughter or anyone else having favorite eaters? That’s each person’s business. I know little about them, except both have a website and seem like nice respectable people, as well as being two of the greats. As far as other eaters, I’ve long known about Kobayashi, and that American guy Joe Chestnut who is the new champ, but he gets beat often too doesnt he? Also, why isn’t there a girl’s league? It’s not fair for women to have to go up against men.

El Toro and everyone else who uses such fowl language need to use it on a porn site but not here.

Was El Toro talking about chickens? No, he wasn’t, so I assume the word you wanted was foul, not fowl.

Mike I don’t know who you are but you are in the same camp as El Toro. You must be defending him out of fear that he will kick your butt if you say how you really feel. I think that qualifies you as the chicken. You’re worse than he is.

what happened to America, does anyone remember “Freedom of Speech”? – i dont think our forefathers fought for these freedoms,so people can just complain about them, bottom line El Toro and anyone else has the Right to say whatever they want,if you dont like the comments that are left here, then you have the right to not come here, its that simple – and OJ,i have always been a supporter of yours, but you shouldnt buckle down to people like that, you should always remain neutral. Whats next complaints about Joeys last name? – and by the way i am a dad of a 22 year old son,who is going to school studing in the field of medicine and i have never in his life sugarcoated anything,if you want your child to not hear or see how the world really is then keep them inside,no tv,no music,no internet,no books = no individualism.

It’s so predictable. Those who clamor to be first in line to wave their 1st Amendment “rights” (as they interpret them) are usually those with nothing to say. Even more unfortunate, several people on this site routinely have so little to say, or are obviously incapable of more than basic elementary school thought, that they think profanity makes them look better. This isn’t about anyone’s freedom of speech – this is a moderated blog site about competitive eating. There should be no expectation of anything other than typing comments into a box. If the moderator believes that disgusting, profane language adds to the discussion at hand, go ahead and post it. Otherwise, I appreciate not reading incredibly stupid or vulgar comments when all most of us want is some news about competitive eating.

You’ll notice that the top eaters rarely post anything on this site anyway, which is unfortunate. Those people are probably what most of us fans would like to hear from. However, in reality, it’s those with little ability that make most of the most pathetic noise. It’s a shame – this site could be so much better.

I’m sure there are thousands of sites these nitwits could use to share their adolescent thoughts with each other. Like most children, they just need to be directed there. If they don’t get the attention here that they apparently can’t get at the table, maybe they’ll just go somewhere else.

anonymous 7:34am some of what you say makes sense and some does not. Mike is a big dude and fears nobody. He has met Toro and i believe they get along quite well. There are some individuals on this site that defend or kiss ass to several ifoce members out of fear that they will get their butt kicked if they say how they really feel. Hardy & Badlands are two examples. Both are well respected but in all honesty i think they are feared more than they are loved.

Freedom of speech is one thing. Profanity and respect for others is another. Apparently people allow the lines to become blurred on this site as an excuse to shirk responsibility.

I have met El Toro, hung out in Vegas with him and competed against him. Am I afraid of him? No, because we are adults and have no reason to fight. We’re not little kids who are going to fight after school to see who is tougher. If this sport ever gets to the point where it actually comes to that kind of mindless violence, then I feel sorry for the individuals involved.
