Philly.com reports Tony Luke, Jr. defeated former Philadelphia Eagle Hollis Thomas in a wing eating contest Monday Night to win a spot in Wing Bowl 23.

    WIP must be getting desperate. A hack food host and an ex Eagle go head to head in place that isn’t PJs hosted by some tool doing a podcast from a different sports station? Times must be tuff!!. Maybe if they didn’t pad all of the eaters numbers so they seem untouchable (as if Molly ever really beat Kobi) they’d have real eaters compete. WingBowl gets more pathetic every year. I’d be embarrassed to compete in this sham of an event. How impressive- an overweight second generation cheesesteak shop manager who eats disgusting concoctions on tv who is a self proclaimed actor and singer (ha yeah right) ate a bunch of chicken against a fat washed up football player. Watch out Molly WIP WILL let this “beast” take you down just for the ratings. Look at how they did Pat and Jamie wrong just to say another girl finally won. Attention is attention with these guys no matter who’s expense it’s at. Pathetic.

    WIP is currently working on simulcast for Wingbowl at the NJ correctional facility where El Wingador is serving time for cocaine distribution . Wingador will eat in his cell against the current champ Molly Sklar in a split screen PPV event telecast via satellite around the globe

    In defense of 1052 am it was a rookie mistake that cost him. Try microwaving 2lbs of brisket for 5 minutes or more and then see if it still tastes the same as if you bought it fresh from the deli At least he attempted to qualify for wingbowl which you did not because you would fall flat on your face at the contest 1.5 wing eaters in Bethesda MD

    I have to agree that WIP and the jokers that run the wing bowl are making it more of a circus every year. Although some eaters give it their all and put up big numbers, the focus of this sideshow is always some stupid idea that Angelo and Al come up with. Tony Luke is a hack and cares about nobody but himself. Even his cheesesteak challenge was a joke. He charged a high price for it and if it was completed, the eater got nothing but a crappy picture on the wall.

    Tony Luke Patsy and the other place what is it called Ginos? I been to all three . Ok i will admit they all put out a good product but there is noticebly more bun than beef on all of them unless you ask for extra extra meat which is overpriced as is . Jims steak no better

    WIP looked for every reason to screw seiken from getting in even after he came in 2nd in wingoff.He would have easily knocked off some of those lame philly eaters that qualified with some lame ass eating stunts

    No one cares about Seiken Molly or WIP
    Wingbowl is a fake contest of bullshit and fanfare to make the hosts feel like real radio personalities
    No one gives a shit about Molly
    It was the novelty of a female winning and they used her to try to get Kobi to come back without an appearance fee
    He won’t and she isn’t worth a sold out arena- none of them are
    Weigh the wings and use REAL pros
    Not the hacks who couldn’t make it in the MLE
