Upcoming contests on IFOCE.com empty

The list of future events on IFOCE.com is now empty. I think this is the first time that there have been no upcoming contests listed since this blog was started.

    Yeah, I think there was a period last year around this time. Or right after the Thanksgiving contest.

    Actually, I think it was after the meatball contest, in December.

    Actually, Dave, you blogged it on February 13, 2007 – the schedule was empty post Queen Mary Chili Cheese Fries for awhile. After meatballs was the Date-nut bread competition, Pretzel Twister, Bikini Fries, and then Chili Cheese Fries. And then nothing for almost a month. I suspect there will be a longer lull this time, with the other two Spike events to come.

    Thr perfect IFO contest would be one to measure the amount of water that can be squeezed from bread and the winner awould ve who could squeeze the most. All the judges wold have to do is weight the water sqeezed into a single container. Also that would be least gross and the eaters would not have to fill up on bad calories. Think about it. Then the eaters could train to strengthen their hands and this would be more like a sport. This would also get rid of the physically weaker water squeezers.

    This is great news. Pat doing egg nog and Brian doing pickles in May. Hey someone has to feed them and it sure aint the IFOCE right?
