This is rather hilarious though not to the people who really believe such nonsense. Violence? Flesh eating? It seems that they need something to occupy their life and impose their life style/food preferences on others. I am sure that they will get lots of publicity, but then so will the contest with their presence. However, only three people have signed up so far. Doesn’t seem like a groundswell.

If you want to follow a vegan lifestyle that’s all well and fine but realize other people have just as much of a right to not follow that lifestyle. It’s a pointless excersize on their part and only makes people hate vegans and find them annoying. They are obviously the radicals of their group and I’m sure other people who are vegan find them equally annoying and ridiculous. Going to a BBQ festival and a competitive eating events to try and make their statement shows how idiotic they are. It’s about as productive as westboro baptists protesting at military funerals. It’s obvious their only goal is to be distributive and ruin other people’s good time because they need attention.

Jam.Josh is right on the money. My sentiments exactly. They’re only succeeding in pushing people away from their cause and alienating them from every tiny little piece of their message. It’s going to take a ton of non-extremist vegans to undo the damage they cause.

disrupt is breaking the law and gains nothing. If others choose not to be vegan these activists have no right to assert their aggressiveness at the event. You are essentially forcing others to adhere to your vegan beliefs. Preaching is fine please don’t disrupt because it cheapens your cause

One of the main reasons why I chose to stop participating in “the movement”. Erik just lol. stops something because of what others do because fear it will make him look bad because he associates with them.

Of course it’s one. How else would you keep entertaining your crowd. Don’t take it harsh though (I know you won’t) and keep up the good work though, you’re still a kid who’s more successful and will be more successful than a majority of anyone on this site if you continue to do your thing. Just remember stay humble
