Interesting. The prize is too small for most people to take the risk of buying $40 worth of product and end up losing (three one-ounce bars costs $3.95). But that’s probably what they’re hoping a lot of people do.

Buying the candy isn’t a big deal for me, but I don’t have a video camera. And the taping instructions are strict!
“Videos must have a valid TIMESTAMP and additionally MUST SHOW A CLOCK WITH HANDS THROUGH THE ENTIRETY OF THE VIDEO. The video must not contain cut shots or scenes and AND MUST SHOW THE ENTRANT, THEIR HANDS, THEIR MOUTH, AND THE SWEET SWEET SMORES BARS AT ALL TIMES.”
That’s a lot to get in one frame.

For all you aspiring videographers/competitive eaters out there, check out the Flip Video camcorder. It’s small, decent quality (more than adequate for web video use) and only $117 on Amazon.com. It’s gotten great reviews. Check out YouTube for examples of the video it produces (“Flip Video Test”).
