Wife Swap information & captures
ABC has an information page about yesterday’s Wife Swap episode featuring the Booker & Alcorn families. The family instruction manuals offer some information that was not shown in the broadcast:
- Badlands wanted to appear to promote his rap career. Regina did not want to appear at all
- Badlands leaves for work at 2am
- The Bookers are very active in their church, which was not mentioned
- Regina works for a major phone company as a supervisor in business collections and says “Being stern with customers all day means when I get home the last thing I want to do is be a disciplinarian”
- Brandon has contributed beats to his father’s CDs
- The episode was filmed during the summer, so Brandon did not need to go to school. (I thought the show made it look like the Bookers were condoning Brandon skipping school
- The Alcorns have 23 pets, which were not displayed probably because it would have made them appear softer
Video captures of the episode are available after the jump:
The woman on the right of Regina’s walking group is bodybuilder Heather Foster, who is one of Badlands top friends on his myspace page.

They didn’t mention Badland’s job as a subway conductor either (just that he works the graveyard shift).

I had to turn it off…that boxer woman was a b**ch and I didn’t like the way she treated Eric or the way her family treated his wife. When she had him packing up his trophies and accolades from his competitive eating career, I was done, and we changed the channel. Eric was right – that’s what he IS, and you can’t hide that away and pretend it never happened.
I hope it all turned out for everyone.

I found myself getting angry that the Alcorns were so disrespectful to Regina Booker. Why would they agree to do this show if they were COMPLETELY unwilling to listen to her or try things her way for a day let alone a week. I also didnt like how smug they were at the end about their own lifestyle. They completely missed an opportunity to grow as people. Those little kids are gonna snap someday when they are set loose into the world and dont know what a Mozerella stick looks like.
I hope alot of that was just editing and coaching from the Producers. I feel bad about critizing this family, but then again they’re the ones who chose to be on National TV.
The Bookers were so loving and affectionate that my wife and me just wanted to reach into the TV and hug them all. I wish they showed more about his Music and I’d love to see more from the Lunch with the Old School Eaters.
Great Show Eric, I’m looking forward to the new album!

I’m with you, SB…their family was a set of sweethearts, and I just couldn’t get over how Regina was being treated. When the husband said “I made a commitment to my wife to preserve the integrity of my home and I won’t let her down,” my son hollers “You made a commitment to be on the GD SHOW…what now?!?” Too bad they couldn’t hear him – it was a valid point!
Anyhow – it was cool to see Crazy Legs and the other eaters in that one brief moment. Like you, I wish they’d have shown more from that meeting – looked like fun!
Oh well – it’s too bad that they didn’t showcase his music more, and it’s too bad the Alcorns were mean, but it seems it all turned out OK. I just hate mean people.

From the way those children are exercising, they’re not going to grow any taller. They’re bones will stop growing because of all that activity. I’d rather be an overweight man, then a really short person who could’ve stopped it.

Alcorn you fool – 100%of esopagal tears come after eating something. There has never been one where the person did not eat beforehand. Therefore, he should never eat as he MAY get a tear.

The thing that really cheesed me off is when the Alcorns got all high-and-mighty about how dangerous and stressful to the body CE was. Well, the last time I checked, boxing was pretty doggone damaging and dangerous too. I challenge anyone to find me a doctor that will say he or she recommends boxing. Find me someone who will claim that boxing is healthy.
Who cares about esophageal tears? Ever hear of brain damage or detatched retinas?
Even mundane sports like jogging has its fair share of dangers, including heart attacks, strokes, massive joint damage and sprains.

Booker has that lovable little face almost like a baby sitting in a high chair with a bib on. which is why i felt real bad when Jen alcorn was scolding him about dumping his trophies. He had the look on his face of a little kid that just got his feelings hurt

This page certainly has all of the information and facts I needed concerning this subject and didn’t know who to ask.
