Bob Shoudt is 50yrs old with high blood pressure and a serious eating disorder . A man of his age should not be participating in life threatening events such as wingbowl. The amount he ate is irrelevant . He has a wife and a family to take care of Seek help ASAP

Truly incredible how far Shoudt has come since 2005. He could barely eat 16 HDB and his only goal in life at that time was being able to compete in Nathans finals. That same year he beat a pretty pitiful;eater by the name of Allen Goldstein in IFOCE title rally by one penne pasta . I am sure he would love to forget that one even though he won. After that he lost 100 lbs went on a tear in 2006 beat the great black widow in meatballs and never looked back . IFOCE should get down on their knees and beg him to come back even at 50

I did not get railroaded at all. I blew my load in round one and hit a wall in round 2. Bob and Brunelli kicked ass and got exactly what they deserved. Happy for both. Was hoping Dave would reverse as in the past but as Al Morganti said at the end of the 2 minute round ” That is a Harley is trying to keep in his mouth” and he did it.

There was a different vibe in the stadium than other Wing Bowls I’ve been in (4). Maybe it was the all local factor, or the feeling that it could have been the last WB (I spoke with a past winner who mentioned that he didn’t think it would be.)
I was more rowdy than usual, and the fan cam wasn’t cutting away as fast as last year. Having Ric Flair in the house was pretty damn awesome.
I know if Molty and Pat were in it this year, I probably wouldn’t have cracked the Top 5/Final Table, but I’ll take it! It was a personal best by around 180…

I remember in the same IFOCE title rally a far more pitiful eater named Brian Stinkin gave up like a sissy after the first 3 minutes of the escarole contest because he was getting smoked by Krazy Kevin, walking off stage with escarole hanging over his double chin. Then, he cried to George Shea, “you set me up, whhhaaaaaa”

Well it appears that Tiger Wings and Bob Wingbowl victories did not stop there . Soon after they headed to Tavern burger eating contest which Bob won $500. Tiger Wings reversed and looked disgusted afterwards
