Hooray for Stonie and Ronnie Hartman! Congratulations to all eaters, first and every place afterwards. Really, Stonie, that is awesome.

As you can see 3 or 4 comments which only proves that the post is about as exciting as watching the grass grow. Sonya Miki posts are whats happening and not this crap

1144- Thomas and Sudo are both finalists for the hooters champs and likely both competing at gyoza. Sonya has stated she will be at kimchi and she does buffet bowl every year. Not sure which competition will be “THE” showdown since we didn’t get Nathan’s, but should be interesting.

Sonya and Miki are about equal right now and after a decade Sonya must level off. Miki is improving and that is not a knock against Sonya cause no one can ever take away her accomplishments.

Miki will destroy everyone at Hooters, based on her total of 192 and Jaws and TBW may not make the top three. New champs for a new age.

It costs a lot of money for people to travel cross country so I don’t think TBW will be at gyoza. Looking forward to seeing them do kimchi.

Sonya says she’s better now than ever, so you can’t really discount the talent of eaters that beat her today. She was never any better than she is right now.

Smacktalkers or predictors, I am anxious to see what really happens at the contests. That is the ONLY thing that counts.

Rake and Herald save the sport. Great journalism minus the stupid comments

Never too late R and H, that excellent and entertaining and enthusiastic mag/rag of delightful journalism. Rake and Herald doesn’t save the sport but adds to it greatly. Journalism yes, so does eatfeats add. If comments are stupid it is because those who write them often have no sense of respect. You just have to weed through (yes weed, not the pot kind) and ignore things which do not add to your enjoyment.

I am really impressed with Matt. Save HDBs, I think he’s Joey’s equal (in most contests), and the kicker is that Matt is still improving. MLE knows this, which is why he is touted as Joey’s biggest threat in every competition. They are very wise to do so.

However, when it comes to stomach capacity, Joey is the man, and Eater X is next. But, in most competitions, stomach capacity is not the limiting factor. It is in Gyoza, however.

The Rake and Herald sets the standard of excellence in reporting CE events. Eatfeats sets the standard for CE-related news and its database has no equal. CE is very lucky to have such professionals covering it.

    Hello 11:25, 7:31 and Rhonda

Thanks very much for your kind words. Glad you like the report. No disrespect to all the other eaters, but can’t help but see great things ahead for Megatoad, especially as he’s only 21. Rhonda, you make a good point about gyoza. It will certainly be interesting to see what happens there.

Meanwhile, can’t help thinking Ronnie ‘Mega Byte’ Hartman might be someone to watch. Obviously, given his military commitments, he’s unlikely to be able to compete at every single event but he seems to have a good attitude and so far he’s done pretty well for himself considering how new he is to the sport. I certainly wish him well.
