It’s more accurate to ask, “Who do you think will be given the Wing Bowl title?”
Let’s not kid ourselves. This isn’t a real contest.

Joey and Sonya seem to have the best chance. It will be very interesting. Sonya will have a really good shot if she survives the introductions. That seems to be half the battle to her winning Wing Bowl.

Simulated conversation between George Shea & Angelo Cataldi
George: Ang I need sonya to win this thing . Either that or i lose our big female meal ticket
Angelo: Look i cant keep doing this shit year in and year out. Sooner or later someone is going to think something is not kosher
George: Im certainly not asking you to fix it just make sure the judges cut her more slack than the others
Angelo; What about humble bob?
George : i love him but not this year . Sonya is already fit to be tied I dont want her more upset than she already is.
Angelo: So should we make it a close three way dead heat with sonya joey and humble bob?
George: Whatever you want but Sonya has to come out the winner ok?
Angelo: Your the boss
This is by no means a real conversation between Shea & Cataldi but more than likely this is the scenario that most pessimistic wingbowl fans must be thinking day in and day out before the big show

Why are you framing George? Frame Angelo. He’s the Wing Bowl-puppet master.

Angelo Cataldi realizing his show was losing its luster after wingbowl 11 , needed top ranked IFOCE eaters to add some life to the rather lackluster El Wingador show. It does not take a very intelligent person to realize that Shea & Cataldi agreed on some business proposition in which Shea would have control as to who is allowed to participate and qualify minus Cataldi’s local Philly picks. Do you honestly believe the five dollar a head admission price is going to charity? Wake up and smell the f– coffee. In addition noone ever said this fantasy conversation between both parties did in fact take place. If you ask certain eaters and i dont mean the brainwashed kiss ass ones, the fabricated conversation is a culmination of some of the feedback that has been recieved.

Philabundance is a probably the biggest charity in the Philadelphia area and if they weren’t getting the money they’d let people know.
