Zap2It’s schedule for ESPN now has information about its broadcast of the 2008 Nathan’s finals. As in previous years, the programming will start at noon eastern and last an hour. The program will be rerun immediately after it concludes.

Any word on Payout for the Finals?
I dont recall them saying how much money was on the table this year. Last year they made a big deal that they were finally giving out prize money.
A Krystals Prize structure would keep it interesting accross the whole Pelaton and not just the Joey/Koby show.
That would suck if they went backwards.

The purse will be $20,000 according to this article about the Myrtle Beach qualifier

thanks OJ. I’m always suspicious of the reporting as fact-checking rarely exists anymore. The reporter could have gotten that info from an old news release or even from my Blog. It would be nice to see it on the Nathans site.
