It would be very interesting to do a study, for example, to examine the correlation between an eater’s perceived level of success in the sport and the number or intensity of negative comments about other eaters. Results would quickly come to light that those who often or intently criticize others have had little success and are even littler people. Such people are likely very insecure and lack confidence in themselves, even though they may talk a good game.
One doesn’t elevate oneself by downing others. Such behavior often does the opposite. People who live in glass houses should especially not throw stones. They can have a strength-gaining boomerang effect.
Also, I would believe people on this site are very, very tired of hearing negative thoughts about Beautifulbrian. Like I said before, the good eaters — and the noble people — are smart enough to refrain from engaging in gossipy rhetoric. But perhaps that’s all some people feel they have to hold on to.
