2011 Nathan’s wild card standings updated
With two qualifiers left, here are the current wild card standings after omitting eaters who have qualified. Bob Shoudt has talked about competing in another qualifier, which would put the wild card back in play.

Where will Crazy Legs qualify? Some say he will get a walk on or any easy qualifier. Others say he will be at Coney no matter what. Either as an eater or play by play (color) announcer. Coney will not be the same without him on stage, or at least on camera.

nobody cares if legs is there or not except legs and a couple of his supporters. I am going out on a limb but I think more people cared about That Guy from Japan and yet the show still went on. still he will get there though. rich pretty much admited that jason bent the rules last year and rich didnt care, that is on the telcast.

there will not be an equal number of male bunnetes as there are female ones
jason qualifys in NC or in special lastr minute event
cutter or stalital giving eating tips is like a blind person describing colors

juliet eats for an additional 2 minutes after july 4 contest is over
sp barlo puts on a good show
outside of chicago eaters, damon wells has the fastest hands in eating

Maybe Bob will do another qualifier so his friend can get in? I doubt it though.

Qualifiers are the best practice! I wouldn’t blame Bob if he does another qualifier for that very reason … smart!
It might be a given that Joey and Tim finish 1-2, but Bob could pose a serious challenge to Pat for third place.

Well Nathan in Cali, regarding Everything Equal I guess it is nice to see that competitive eating is attracting more diverse individuals. But, it’s got to be difficult for Everything Equal to post so much from that closet he’s been hiding in. Someone should tell him he needs to come out. I mean his stong jealousy of the women? Wanting to see men as bunnettes? “Bertie” … “Bertie” rocks his house? He sure likes Damon’s fast hands? I don’t want to jump to any conclusions, but wow!

Part of EE sounds like Seiken but not all. Referring to Jason instead of Legs, has always had it in and is jealous of Janus, loves Bertie for now, that is all Seiken. But the rest does not fit with him. SuperPaul, Juliet etc. Rhondank continues with the Rhonda is Hank etc. People, get a grip.

If Bob does another qualifier, at present it would be Wing Kong who would get the wildcard spot? Hall has the top numbers in general though Booker might beat him? It seems as if it will be Booker, Hall, Kong, the others are not in the running?

With the emergence of new talent like Morgan, Osthoff and now Wells, it really was only a matter of time that some of these older vets would be the odd eaters out, it happens in all sports and they (older vets) have absolutly nothing to be ashamed about, they helped pave the way for the newer generation…
If Bob does another qualifier or not, I still hope the highest numbers of HDB’s eaten get to go… Meaning I’d hate to see Collins get the raw end of the deal because he’s in the 2nd wild card spot with 27 and have Booker eat 22 in Fishkill and win… Either way it’ll be very interesting to see how these last two weeks pan out…
So do we have any word on if any ranked eaters will be in China, or if the Canada qualifier will happen at a later date/change locations/or will a second wild card spot be added??? Currently we have 12 eaters going to Coney (the 10 who have already quailified, one wild card, and Joey) with 3 qualifiers left, thats 15 spots… last year there were 16 eaters at the table (although one was for the military guy Kris Adam’s) so there is a chance that a final spot maybe made available in some way.

If Bob wins in NC that gives Collins the wild card unless something drastic happens in Fishkill which is why Collins will compete in Fishkill and even if he loses to Booker he still gets the wildcard and if he beats Booker and booker does less than 26 then Stonie gets in Make sense?

Could Kong and Bob both be messing with everyone and Crazy Legs. Didn’t Bob mess with Bickel? If Bob is smart, which he is, he will keep everyone guessing. Does he want another chance to compete? He could do that at home for a run to see how high he could go and keep everyone guessing. Do not think this has anything to do with Crazy Legs.

Its a setup for Conti to win in NC . MLE payed off Kong to turn back the other way so Shoudt could win in Fishkill and Kong would get the wildcard Its a no brainer

12:03 does this mean Bob wins this weekend. and assuming the other wildcards dont chang, then Kong gets in. then the last second supper suprise qual would be in NY when Badlandz is working and Mega cant get a flight so Jason can get in?
This is way to complicated. I think Kong wins Fishkil. Bob is wildcard. Last minute qualifier Badlandz winz. Jason not at the table on 4th and is in the booth. He will have a special debri/food not eaten cam (aka ContiCam) and make a huge deal out of any debri like in the movie when they let a crook out so the crook can spot another crook.

Kong should be in! Kong said he was finished for this year because of responsibilities. Hopefully, he will find a way to get to Fishkill. Or he will win the wildcard though if Booker competes and beats Kong’s number and Bob wins Fishkill, then Kong will not be in. Booker’s numbers fluctuate a lot so one never knows.
