    Matt, the negative comments you often see on this site are not reflective of (exactly) 98 % of the IFOCE’s top 50 eaters, who are all real decent people.

    I like to think of myself as a CE handicapper (and a very good one!) and I see you ranked between 8 and 10 within your first 6 months as an MLE member.

    You are an awesome eater!

    It would be awsome to get up so high the ranks so early, all i gotta do is hope, and try hella hard.

    Thats consequentally why i decided to opt to pay to fly to Gyros, i figure ill most likly lose money, but i need practice, i need experience, and i need to a good resume going as a leauge memeber now (offically as of 5/3!!!!!)

    good luck Matt, its a fun event get there early and maybe you can do a spot on Ken Hoffman’s radio show (local DJ/Newspaper Columnist/ Judges at Nathan’s too),usually he broadcasts from there and he likes the new talent, especially when there good, usually i would pick anyone that needed a ride from the airport but i just dropped out of the contest cause i might have to be in New Orleans that day. anyway good luck to all, Hopefully see some of you at Oysters,Have A Nice Day , 🙂
