EatMyPie.ca has a preview of Sunday's pizza eating contest to be held at PIE - Wood Fire Pizza Joint in Barrie, Ontario. In addition to Takeru Kobayashi and "Furious" Pete Czerwinski, Jamie McDonald, Stephanie Torres (billed as the #2 female competitive eater in the world) and 680 pound sumo wrestler Manny Yarborough are also listed as expected entrants.

    Really not to hard to pick this one . Don’t Know what everyon is exspecting . It will be nice to see how close to Koby , Jamie gets .

    Why don’t they bill Stephanie as the world’s top female eater. She has a right to say that. Since she left MLE she has never lost to another woman, and even if she was still in MLE she has improved so much that she just may be the best. No one can argue against that.

    Why would Steph go up to make $500? It costs MORE than that to just fly up there. I know for a fact they aren’t paying for her travels.

    I agree with 9:48. The three eaters that Koby will see in his telescopic rear view mirror will be Jamie, Pete, and Steph, respectively. It will be fairly close between the latter two.

    We all know that Stephanie beat Juliet at Nathans last year but was cheated because of Juliet’s usual antics. Good for her for sticking it to the MLE and saying adios.

    Good for her? Maybe Stephanie.should be taught a lesson or two about loyalty. George Shea had big plans for her but she blew it in return for $50 local burrito and pizza challenges

    Young and smart. She is doing what she wants, when she wants now and making money at the same time. What lesson are you trying to teach her? Confinement, dictatorship, ownership of an individual, cheating.
