if you include all the travel expenses and appearance fees the list would look far different. There are some in the top 10 who never get anything and some outside the top 10 who get lots

I would say that 6 or 7 in the top 20 have their travel and hotel expenses taken care of in almost every contest they compete in

For the two or three folks who are given perks once in a while (e.g. airfare, lodging, appearance fees), they’ve earned those benefits, because their appearances help leverage MLE profits.
There’s nothing special about seeing someone eat as much as Uncle Larry or Cousin John, hence, no incentives.
That’s why if eaters are in CE for the money only, unless they’re one of the three or four best MLE eaters, APE eaters or independents, they’re in for perpetual disappointment.
The irritating thing is that many chronic complainers know this, yet, they still whine.

I am anxiously looking forward to hearing what Miki Sudo has to say on Fink Beats the stomach podcast Matter fact i called in sick and told them that was the reason i cannot come to work. If i can take a day off from work honoring Miki Sudo day then i can take another day off to hear her incite on a podcast I suggest everyone drop any plans you might have and listen
