The field for the Peeps eating contest in National Harbor, MD April 8 has been announced: Matt Stonie, Carmen Cincotti, Geoffrey Esper, Gideon Oji, Juan Rodriguez, Juliet Lee, Yasir Salem, Badlands Booker, Kevin Ambs, Matt Cohen, Nathan Biller, Crazy Legs Conti and Bill Myers. If Sonya Thomas does not compete, this will be the fourth DC-area contest in a that she has missed.

    Great field. The only one missing is the return of BS Seiken for last place.

    It is a good field. I wish Sonya was there though. She is one of my favorites and I miss watching her compete.

    I miss Sonya too. It’s probably not as fun as it used to be for her, especially after over a dozen years. She has nothing to prove, as evidenced by her trophy room. Good for her to move on.

    Sonya had a great run. Novice fans remember Sonya name before any other female eater because she is a household name in the sport . . When you mention Sudo or Lee they are like Who?

    When you think of 2004-2006 you think of Sonya Seiken Jarvis Booker Lerman When you think of 2003 you think of Allen Goldstein a wannabe eater consuming a whopping 9 hot dogs& washing the dishes in the kitchen from those same names who competed in the Thanksgiving day invitational
