Quote from don lerman retirement article “Shea said that three of the four pillars of 20th Century eating have now left competition. Only Kevin Lipsitz carries the torch for the older generation”.
I guess my 9 yrs of service meant shit to the IFOCE. To the fans who know that most of the time when i get pissed off its a goof. This time its no goof Im dead serious . Thanks for the memories George!

Brian isn’t it possible to be a great contributor to competitive eating without being a “pillar?” Why must you often feel put down simply because others are recognized for something decent? And the one using the nice comments is trying to do a decent thing and recognize a worthy individual. Have you not thought about the possibility that your childish comments may have made either or both George and Don feel very awkward? (Probably not, because you’re what Brian is all about, himself.)
Sometimes you’re like a child whose visiting uncle bought him something nice, and when the relative tries to do something similarly nice for a friend or cousin, you’re there saying, “What about me? What about me? Brian you can be very, very selfish. You sure know how to rain on others’ parades.
You are a little kid with a need for constant attention that can never be filled. That’s a difficult burden to bear. Why must you be so insecure about yourself?
Now I expect retaliatory comments, but that’s okay. I’ll even go away for awhile. But you need to take this to heart. I just hope you some day see the light and grow up.

I emailed him regarding the matter and he did get back to me claiming it was an oversite on his part and he will correct it. If and when the correction is made i will drop it and let bygones be bygones. I did not intend to ruin Don Lerman’s big day . He deserves to be honored for his hard work and dedication that he put into the sport , Due to poor judging in several very big chicken wing and matzh ball events he was screwed out of two possibly three titles (wingbowl, 2002 buffalo & Bens finals) .For those of you that think im too sensitive or jump the gun when it comes to my name omitted from articles etc etc. you have no idea how much shit i let slide over the years and basically payed it no mind and moved on. This time i said enough is enough and i think a reply on my end was warranted. Apologies to all you BB haters but i think if the shoe was on the other foot you would have done the same damn thing!

Don I’m sure you’ll be as great a judge as you have been an eater through your career.

Getting back to the Cannoli contest, I expect Crazy Legs to do well. He might not win, but he will make his presence known.

With this horrible weather i doubt if many people will attent the cannoli contest. One day of bad weather can really kill the vendors pockets in the san gennaro festival

Hopefully there is a good turnout. I look for Eater X to take it pretty easy. Conti should pull 2nd if he has his game face on. I am ready for some results from this weekends contests. Should be some extreme #’s in okra and in pork.

From IFOCE:
1. Tim: 26
2. Crazy Legs: 22
3. Justin Mih: 18
Tim amd Legs both broke Cookie’s record of 21 Cannoli in 6 minutes. I knew Crazy Legs would do well. All three did.
