Not even a mention on ifoce site of my name or Kevin’s as previous or current pickle champs. . Ive never seen such disrespect . They can crown anyone they want.

If they mentioned you, or Kevin wouldn’t they (atleast in theory) have to mention Chapman as the reigning champ?!

Joe i cant believe you would ask a question like that. Sometimes i wonder if you play dumb just to f– with people. I will still go out of my way to give you an answer. Putting aside my personal negative feelings i have towards the name you just mentioned ill talk facts and pickles only. Chapman holds a title which in my opinion is the real world pickle title. If you win at Carnegie it is champ of all champs regardless who the competitiion was . The two people that orchestrate that event couldnt come up with the gelt (or didnt want to ) when approached by the Shea’s in 2002 . They felt they had the owner of the deli or Curtis Sliwa to MC the show for nothing so why should they dig in their pockets to pay George or RIch Shea. When i won in 2002 it did not get mention on the ifoce website which i expected because they wouldnt sanction it. What hurt was the fact that i didnt even recieve a phone call or email from either to at least say good job. Does every thing in this world have to have a dollar sign attached to it? Getting back to why Chapman’s name wouldnt get a mention. I think its etched in stone that when ifoce .com was first born they both took an oath that any name or names not affiliated with ifoce (aice, personal eating challenges etc etc) is banned from any mention in the ifoce website. Names such as Menchetti Chapman etc are stricken from the records PERMANENTLY. I can attest to that because i have read every single article since day one of its inception and it appears they have lived up to their word. Chapman could eat 10 lbs of pickles ifoce and the sheas would never acknowledge it. If i was the current Carnegie champ i dont believe it would get a mention even though i am an ifoce member because of what i just explained to you. However i hold the ifoce pickle record 6 min 2.7lbs. For all intensive purposes i could have eaten 1.5 lbs or 1lb for that matter. Bottom line is its an ifoce recored no matter how impressive the total amt was and i think that it wouldnt take much for them to go out of their way to mention that in the article. Any other record that has been broken in the ifoce eats of strength etc etc , the previous title holder or record was mentioned. Its obviously a personal thing with them and i dont give a shit anymore.Right now its all about dollars . Pat B , Chestnut or Lefevre will prob hop a plane out there and eat 4 or 5lbs and i wish them luck.Pickles are not that easy to consume. I think the Sheas had their new champ and record breaker groomed before they posted that article. Hope that answers your question
