Congratulations to Hall “Pretty Boy” Hunt, whose win combined with a 2nd place finish in the SC contest nets him $1,500 for the extended weekend. The final grilled cheese qualifier in Phoenix on Friday is apparently Joey Chestnut’s to lose.

Thanks Bubba. I didn’t even know how many grilled cheese anyone had eaten until the end. You did great. I think you had the most improved number from one qualifier to the next. You just keep getting better. I always love getting to catch up with all the eaters at the events. I think everyone is doing a great job of pushing the others to get better. Just look at the totals for Krystals, Nathan’s, etc from previous years compared to now. I love it. I just want to see this sport continue to grow. Thanks again for the congrats. Good luck in your next Krystal qualifier.
