If you’re seeing a sports psychologist too, maybe we should go to group therapy. I’ve been paying out of pocket for mine for nine months. I’d love to cut some of the cost.

The IFOCE HMO actually covers the sports psychologist vist (minus the $15 copay) as long as you have a referal from one of the officials. The paperwork is easier if you can prove an injury like a bruised ego from an earlier loss. I’ve had on this damn neck brace since Memphis…..

I think I see the difference.

I see a sports psychologist – degree = Psy D (Doctorate of Psychology) This is someone who is a trained therapist and helps me to focus on my work. Sessions usually run 1 hour.

http://www.pnhp.org = MD = QUACK This is someone that is going to push pills on you and your entire session will last 5 minutes.

I think I’ve gone all wrong. My therapist has me wearing the neck brace and walking with a limp so that I can have “outward signs of my inner pain” He also strapped an old chrome bumper around my back to show everyone how ‘weighed down’ by the world I am.

This is the second quack I’ve been to on this HMO. The first one asked some inappropriate questions about my mother, and I punched him in the nose.
