See, that’s why I don’t believe the media. Joey already stated on this site that he is not going to attend and Rich stated that he will participate. I also still don’t totally believe that Sonya will be in England for mince meat pie, or whatever it is until the contest results are published. If she goes she won’t be able to do meatballs will she?

The media often times needs to turn in stories before all the eaters have confirmed attendance to contests. I know joey was signed up and was planning to go, but his travel arrangments got screwed up. I wouldn’t put much weight into what the press releases say attendence wise because I have been to many a contests where the people think kobeyashi will be competing.

gee, i wonder now if people will realize that joeys earlier quote may not have been accurate. nah, it couldn’t be that he is one of the most down to earth, least boastful eaters out there. i say since we can’t beat him lets just make up stories about him and call him names. i feel so much better now
