    Whoah OJ, thanks. Stephanie! I hope you will be there!! Notice how it says to comb hair etc. and makes the pitch to make news. Restaurants are hopping on the challenge bandwagon in droves, and it is very smart of them to do so and ride the wave. It should be obvious to everyone why MLE doesn’t want its eaters to do these challenges, safety aside. And the restaurants do not want “professional” eaters for obvious reasons though that word isn’t really defined. It’s a murky area for them and all independent eaters. Anyone in MLE should know by now the lay of the land about challenges. But I do not think MLE wants to spend time policing. Things are case by case, they are too busy working on getting more contests and making more money or keeping pace with their past successes.

    Total BS. The employee told me I had to sign up via the manager. He never got back to me, so I never went. Assumed it was full. I didn;t check back here or on fb until now. I wanted to win that iPad! I can’t tell you how disappointed I am. Without Matt and Ken there, I would’ve had a chance! 🙂

    This thread is so hilarious. All the best eaters in northern California somehow managed to not show up for this contest even though they all wanted to.
