I predict that Hall will show up and win. Can’t see him skipping out on Nathans now that he is “back”.

Damn you Times Herald for not mentioning me!!! I have not been able to find any ladies that can do ten yet but I am still searching. If Gracie shows I think she can do it though.

actually, Joe, my one sister is a HUGE eater, even won a creampuff eating contest years ago, but, currently on a diet, and living in Ohio – I already tried to get her to show up!

Oh, sure. Carlene sat out the qualifier in her backyard so that she could drive across the country to eat in Atlanta.

She also would have had to face Steph Torress in Vegas. She could show up to Tempe and Hawthorne though.

Sonya Sorich, a reporter for the Columbus, GA Ledger Enquirer, could be another possible candidate for a female Georgian who can break 10 HDB

What is the point of filling the table with a few more no talent women that can barely eat 10 and then get blown out by Sonya Thomas. Makes no sense

Anon-8:41 remember we are talking about mle and with this it makes perfect sense, have 2 or 3 of your spotlight eaters and then fill the table with sacrificial eaters who have no hope of coming close to the prize ( but it is kinda cool getting a couple of free nights in NYC)

The point is that by having women participate, competitive eating will get some eye candy and a spiff-up, far more interest will be generated in Nathan’s. It is like Joey and Joey, same old, same old. This is new. A few more no talent women? Your vision should be checked.
