The Los Angeles Daily News has a column about a tournament of the major events in 16 North American sports:

(13) World Series of Poker vs. (12) Coney Island Hot Dog Eating Contest

Winner: In this interesting matchup of mid-majors, hot dogs win again. Look at Kobiyashi’s poker face when he’s ready to rumble.

(You would think a major newspaper could spell Kobayashi correctly)

The author says that Nathan’s hot dog eating contest wins its semifinal matchup, but then does not list it in the finals.
