Sounds like another good one for Jack LeBarf to attend. He can beat all the amateurs and call himself the GOAT.

Since Eli was mentioned and the way this software works. In case anyone missed the update!

Eli Update: Feb stats are in. So, we have

    November – 8300 new subs
    December – 7900 new subs
    January – 9300 new subs
    February – 5900 new subs

What’s the matter with literally everyone else! You BUMS! LMAO.

What?! No 50K celebration video? Wait, that would be blatant lying documented about the con that continues with the channel.

    Have a blessed week everyone!

So let’s just say Eli is buying subs, and let’s run a scenario where you are correct. With you being all knowing and understanding of YouTube and how it all works, allowing you to make the accurate assumption, walk us through how this works. What site or app does Eli use, how much does he spend, and how often does he do the tasks to buy the followers, since obviously its a regular occurrence to maintain consistency and keep the con going? I’m interested in knowing how to replicate it on my upcoming channel I’ll be starting, so please help and thanks in advance!!

Randy, look at the numbers. Look at the market. Good gosh use some critical thinking too. Go to google and put in YouTube video promotion. Too many companies to choose from. Here, I’ll save you the 10 seconds to search and supply what comes up first: https://sprizzy.com/ Jeeez.

Randy, I have a serious question for you. Why are you coming to Eli’s defense so much? The guy obviously isn’t well liked on here (as are many others) and you yourself have spoke very much against water training and reversing challenges. But yet the people you mention and collaborate with do that, including Eli. You said in your tater tot collab with Eli the amount of challenges he’s won is a lot for the time he’s done it. And honestly most of us here know the secrets and know his 2-3 challenge per week average is impossible to do without barfing.

I think I defended Eli over a year ago, as well as newer eaters in general, since there really isn’t any “new blood” in the sport of competitive eating, and collectively “we as an eating community” are putting all the newer eaters down, rather than trying to build them up. I haven’t really done the research, but off hand I’d guess that more than 50% of eaters nowadays have been “eating” for almost if not more than a decade. My 15 year anniversary is coming up in a few days on March 19th. The number of people who have been eating for less than 3 years.. you really only need one hand to count the number who will make it to five years. Joey, Pat, Bob, and others have been eating for longer than me. Once we all retire lol the sport will be dead.

Regarding your question in 2025, I’ve met Eli and his wife and family, and believe it is absurd that he has any reason to buy subscribers. I’m only really aware of one significant other who fully supports and encourages her guy to be an absolute fraud lol. As I’ve said before, most of the channels you are comparing him too are many years old. I can’t really debate the topic since the main way to describe what is going on… is by putting other channels down and critiquing them in a negative way, or say what is all holding them back. Check my collab video on Eli’s channel haha there are like 400 comments that are negative towards all my talking, since Eli did what most others do and just edited the intro and not of the body of the challenge. He gets a lot of engagement and i quite often have people tell me at events that they follow Katina, me, (usually) Adam, and then lots include Eli in the mix too. I’m not sure of he viewer retention, but it must be pretty good and he has lots of people watching. He is also one of the few eaters I’ve never heard anything negative about from restaurant owners when I go try a challenge after them. Eli does a good job of promoting the sport and eating community in a positive light. There was a point in like 2015 where I started growing by 15,000+ subs per month, thanks to the VICE Munchies documentary and the years that Mitch and I were posting videos consistently. If Eli was buying subs, why would February be such a smaller number than January? From what I understand, he doesn’t intend to quit working for the postal service and jump all-in anytime soon, but also I don’t know that either. Haven’t discussed anything with him that in depth.

In regards to eaters reversing and all that, I generally stay away from all that right now since I’ll be talking all about that as a dietitian once I have my nutrition and dietitian business and new channel up and going. Those videos are all going to fund my new channel, book, websites, and startup company. No need to bash or call out anyone at this current time, since it would be disrespectful and pointless unless done in a highly profitable manner. Anyone who knows 13% about basic nutrition and weight management knows who is throwing up and who isn’t. Talking on here isn’t really public, since nobody from the public gets on this site.

    Randy,
Great post, but you’re wrong on one front. When you and all those others leave, CE won’t die. We still have the great Jack Legath who is the next Joey Chestnut. He’s also the exception to all of this barfing. He actually runs all the calories off and is able to do multiple challenges per week and even 15 challenges in 10 days in the UK without gaining weight. Hopefully you get the honor to collab with the GOAT before you hang it up.

No offense Randy, but you’ve been retiring for a few years now? I’ll have to see it to believe it. I am not sure how you are going to market yourself. That will be very interesting because no one cares about that these days (your qualifications as a dietician). Sorry, but I think you just put all that effort into a useless degree. People will look more at the person’s physique rather than their qualifications. And, yours won’t be good even if you lose weight without an operation, etc. for the skin slop you will have after losing enough. Also, with the entrance of new diet drugs like Ozempic, it puts a monkey wrench on the market of weight loss. But, good luck, it will be interesting to watch how this all unfolds.

No offense taken at all. My original plans didn’t involve buying the home that we bought in Nashville. Our loan was almost 1M at 6.99% interest and I didn’t want to make my transition to dietetics while having a $7,300 mortgage payment. Katina and I worked hard last year and with help from the Milwaukee home sale that sold for a great price, we made the final payment this past January and are now debt free again. I shift down to posting just one video per week on April 7th, and then things will get a lot easier to manage. Living expenses in Tennessee are minimal, which is awesome!

Most people don’t even know what a dietitian is or what they do. While I might have loose skin when I’m finished, I’ll be wearing a shirt 99% of the time in videos and while public speaking. There are over 100,000 shirtless male and booty poppin’ tight clothes wearing female influencers, and I’m not aware that they are all working together to curb America’s obesity epidemic. And I’m very curious as to how Ozempic is going to negatively impact what I’m doing? Rather than stomach surgeries which was the previous trend to avoid hard work, focused diet, and consistency, now people can just take shots that make them not want to eat. Neither “band-aid” temporary solution actually teaches people how to eat or how weight management works. People who got stomach surgeries without receiving a basic nutrition education still gain weight and all the people taking Semaglutide medications will likely gain their weight back once their done spending the few hundred dollars a month to not eat. Using your theory, since Ozempic makes people not eat, the entrance of these drugs would not only lead to people having no use for dietitians, but also a high majority of restaurants will be closing in the near future, since people won’t want to eat at them. There will only be a need for a few restaurants to per city to provide small portioned meals? Does that sound likely?

Lol you treat my dietetics education like it was a general business or philosophy degree! That is funny. All will be fine, but you’re right in saying it will be interesting to watch how it all unfolds, since that is intriguing to me too!! haha

Randy, how can I subscribe to the 1% of future videos where you will be shirtless? Or if you will be posting them on OnlyFans, let me know your account name so I can subscribe. I’m willing to pay up to $150 for any video in which you are shirtless and eating food with a duration of at least 5.5 minutes. Thanks in advance.

    Yours Truly,
    W.W.
