    @639 Didn’t they advertise the eaters in contest were competitive eaters. Lauren “The Machine” is the current women’s MLE kolache eating champion, and the MEEF twins may have done more contests than Oldguy, including several MLE contests. Doesn’t make any of them good, but they are eaters.

    In my completely non-valued opinion, if the contest is not billed as “Amateurs” / “Amateur only” / “No Professional Eaters”, then anyone can compete. Of course, its always a good gesture to let the contest host know that you have prior eating experience.
